Albine (in Tarn) is the village where Loâzo went to produce this EP. Each track in its own way is filled with the landscape of Tarn. It is in the barn on an old house near a stream that Loâzo composed the 4 tracks. In the same way that he composed his first EP in his childhood bedroom, he made the choice to get out of the studio to meet a place and try to extract its substance.

In this case, the place is exempt of any memories,
everything is to be felt and imagined.
Hybrid, between field-recording, archive and
synthesis, Albine’s sound is multifaceted.
Every track is like a step in the journey in an imaginary
Tarn, through varied rhythms and atmospheres.

In the line of his previous EP « Enfant » (Child),
Loâzo shows once again his capacity to create a music alive with
varied tempos and colours, all the while letting himself be humbly
influenced by the land he walks.
Acting as an architeck of electronic vibrations, he sublimates the
places while leaving the unique mark of a mind bewitched by the
memory of these places.

« Montagne Noire » (Black Mountain) is a frenetic
ode to mountain hiking (the title is an hommage to
the mountain that looks over the region of Albine).
Loâzo invites us to discover his own version of
footwork which is rocky as well as pastoral with
woody percussions.

The coumpound timed trance of the track « Qui »
(Who) seems to draw us into a pagan celebration,
where all would dance around a joyous bonfire to
celebrate ancestral divinities. We find melodic notes
of ethio-jazz as well as the rhythmic mark of latino-
american tribal.

Arrives then « Ribièras » (meaning « river » in the
local dialect), we come back to the club in an owned
UK Bass style, it reminds us the furious rhythmics of
british labels such as Livity Sound or Hessle Audio.
Loâzo instils to the track with vocal mantras to the
glory of streams and rivers running through the
Tarn landscape.

The EP ends with the track « Albine », which takes
us on a donkey trek, with its slow rhythm and its
mountainous spirit, a soft reminder of an electronic
cumbia, in the line of artists such as Chancha Via
Circuito. But adorned with hypnotyzing melodies.
